I love video games, however, the only TV at home isn’t available very often, so I can’t play many games there. Because of this, most of my old consoles end up gathering dust in the wardrobe. As I don’t have a TV in my room, I depend on emulators in order to play old games.
I once bought a VGA Box for my Xbox. I first went with Mayflash’s Magic VGA Box, however the image quality was pretty sub-par for the price (nearly €60). I later exchanged it for an YPbPr to RGBHV VGA Box from the same manufacturer. This time the video quality was very good, but it didn’t support interlaced video modes. In the end I sold it in order to buy a 360, which I now happily play in my HDMI ready screen.
A few months ago, though, I grew tired of the current game generation and I decided to give a chance to my good old PS2, as I still have many unplayed titles that I want to try. However my screen lacks RCA connectors, so I’ve been trying to find a way to hook my PS2 to it ever since.
